Doctor discusses impact of global warming and climate change on health
A medical practitioner guests in the February 21 General Membership Meeting of the Bankers Institute of the Philippines to discuss the “Health Risks from Global Warming and Climate Change”. He will explain “Global Warming, its causes, effects on a person’s health and possible solutions/alternatives to help preserve the environment.”
Profile
Dr. Mark Anthony O. Rupido, M.D. obtained his B.S. Medical Technology and Doctor of Medicine from the FEU-NRMF, Quezon City.
His work experience focuses on the effective management of employee benefit programs through utilization tracking, actuarial and program intervention.
He is currently a corporate retainer physician and wellness lecturer for Medicare and a large private real estate/construction company.
Dr. Rupido is a member of the Philippine Medical Association (QC Chapter) and Philippine College of Occupational Medicine; and a volunteer in the Philippine National Red Cross (QC Chapter).
